LINDI NGWENYA, Founder & Managing Director, Sisu Sports

Lindi Ngwenya is the Founder and Managing Director of Sisu Sports Management. Lindi played competitive rugby for over 15 years and this experience gave her a deep understanding of the challenges that many women face trying to build a career in sport.

Consequently she established the agency in 2013 with a mission to mentor and manage talent from under-served and overlooked areas of the game. This has seen the company focus on African football, smaller European Leagues and Women's football.

Lindi has negotiated numerous playing and commercial contracts for players across Europe and further afield leagues such as India and Oman. Prior to founding Sisu, Lindi served as a British Army Officer followed by over a decade in the London financial markets; giving her a uniquely broad skill set covering technical, commercial and leadership roles.

David “Dave” Bonzagni traces his roots with Wilmelsport back to 2010 when he joined the agency as a law school student intern. He rejoined the firm in 2017 as “Director of Player Recruitment” where his responsibilities include identifying talented youth, academy, and college players as well as reviewing professional players for representation. Dave regularly speaks with coaches, scouts, players and their parents. He also assists the firm in day to day client relations and management.

Growing up in Rhode Island, a Southern New England soccer “hot-bed”, Dave played in the youth ranks against the likes of future US National Team players Michael Parkhurst and Geoff Cameron. He won a state championship at Bishop Hendricken High School and continued playing at the club level at the College of Charleston and ultimately, Suffolk Law. Despite a torn ACL in 2014, Dave continues to play in a weekly men’s league, brace and all!

For the last 7 years, Dave has served as a criminal prosecutor in Rhode Island where he has litigated all types of cases from homicides to complex white-collar financial crimes. All the while, Dave has stayed in close contact with Wilmelsport, following the developments in the domestic leagues and abroad, and attending staff meetings. Most recently, Dave attended the MLS combine in Orlando, FL with David-Ross Williamson.
